BRO! One of the jams from our first album ‘not saying / just saying’ is going to be featured on MTV’s Jersey Shore tomorrow night (thurs. Aug 5th, episode 2)!!! You can fist pump along to ‘Procrastinator’s Fight Song’, just like you did in the Atlantic City episode of the first season. That’s right, this is the second time Jersey Shore has featured ‘Procrastinator’s Fight Song’ in an episode! The last time they featured our epic dance jam about poor time management skillz, Snooki totally wiped out while dancing on top of a sofa as the song played, so we are looking forward to seeing what kind of wacky shenanigans go down this time around. I’m kinda hoping that they have a fist pumpin’ air guitar sesh, and the Situation plays his situational abs like a keyboard. Hit the GYM, do some TANNING, put in a fresh load of LAUNDRY, and tune in to MTV tomorrow night at 10 pm ET/PT to check out the drama! While we were in Amsterdam, we found these programmable little music boxes. I have wanted to try mine out for a while and Friends was an easy choice because it’s easily transposed to C Major. I didn’t realize in my sleep deprived state that a quarter note is as fast as the mechanism can sound two unison notes so there are a lot of grace notes I tediously punched in that don’t sound, therefore; I filled in the lines a bit with some tinkly harmonies. Voila, mechanical remix number one.

One of the highlights of SXSW for me was the arrival of my new White Moog Voyager! By the end of the tour it was already riding high on the top tier of my synth pyramid and it is truly a dream synth. We got to meet and chat with Jason Daniello from Moog, who is the nicest, most down to earth and helpful guy. It really has been a pleasure dealing with Moog and we couldn’t be happier to rep their products. My only problem is that I want 3 of everything and we’re running out of room in the trailer.
